E. Dorsey Norwood, MD, FAAP
Dr. Dorsey Norwood was born and raised in Atlanta. Her father, Dr. Felton Norwood, was also a pediatrician. He exemplified for her the meaning of medical excellence. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 1993 and received a BA in Studio Art, painting abstract expressionism. She received her medical degree from Emory University. Afterwards, she remained in Atlanta for her residency at Emory University serving patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Hugh Spalding, and Grady.
Dr. Norwood also serves a clinical Professor for Emory University teaching residents and medical students. She's a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Norwood has been practicing Pediatrics in the East Point area for almost two decades. She and, her business partner, Alison Miller NP-C, started Norwood Pediatrics to continue to provide high quality care to the community that they love.

Dr. Norwood enjoys surfing, playing ultimate frisbee, walking, running the beltline, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys an occasional dance off in the office.
